A 39-year-old South Korean was jailed for 10 months on Thursday for secretly videotaping women who were taking part in a belly-dancing class. The man identified only as Lim videotaped the scantily-dressed group on seven occasions in March from the rooftop of a nearby building in Yongin, 30 kilometres (20 miles) south of Seoul.
"The accused, who was punished in the past for a similar offence, committed a crime again to satisfy his sexual desire," the Suwon District Court said in a statement. "His behaviour is tantamount to sexual violence." "The court delivers rigorous punishment against the offender as the mental pain on the victimised women seems to have been great and the tape he has circulated could cause secondary harm," it said.
There were no reports on how the man spread the footage. Belly-dancing is gaining popularity among many South Korean women. Dancing was always one of the best means to combine fun and exercising. Though it might require more practice after a few relaxing sessions you'll see the visible result of its toning effect. Belly dance benefits were never refuted by professional trainers, as it has the ability to tone the body and at the same time help us in getting rid of the pounds that might ruin our dream silhouette. No wonder millions joined the party of belly dancers all over the world strengthening its reputation. These are some of the unquestionable advantages of belly dancing.
