Renault may go to India to tie-up with India's Bajaj Auto.
Bajaj is known in India as the leading manufacturer of two and three-wheel vehicles.The two vehicle makers are supposedly aiming to build a car by 2012 to rival the world's cheapest auto, the Tata Nano, which is also built in India.
The Tata Nano started driving through Indian streets earlier this year to popular acclaim.
Renault has said it wants to have a presence in the fast-growing Indian auto market with a car designed and made by the Indian group but marketed by Renault.The proposed car is expected to carry the Renault badge.
