Country singer Shania Twain said on Tuesday that she was so shattered by the collapse of her marriage that she feared she would never sing again. In her first TV interview in five years, Twain told Oprah Winfrey that she became "an emotional mess" when she found out in 2008 that her best friend and her husband had fallen for each other. "I figured mentally that I would never sing again," the five-time Grammy Award winner told Winfrey. Twain said she not only lost her husband, but her producer and co-writer when she split with in Robert John "Mutt" Lange.
"I hadn't written a song without this man in 14 years....How do I even get started?," she said in an interview won The Oprah Winfrey Show. Twain, whose 1997 album "Come on Over" was a huge crossover hit, revealed that she also suffers from dysphonia, an ailment where the muscles squeeze the voice box. "My fears and anxieties throughout my whole life have been slowly squeezing my voice," Twain told Winfrey. "I was losing it slowly and progressively." Twain chronicles the demise of her 14-year marriage and her fight to get her voice back in a new book "From This Moment On" and a documentary series "Why Not?" that debuts on Sunday on Winfrey's cable TV network OWN. She also announced on Tuesday that she would be attending the Country Music Association festival in Nashville in June -- and handed out passes to Winfrey's studio audience. In her memoir and TV documentary, the Canadian singer recounts how she grew up poor and witnessed her step-father physically abuse her mother on a regular basis only to see them both die in a car accident, leaving Twain to raise her siblings. Twain called her husband's betrayal "a trigger crisis," and "the straw that broke the camel's back of something that had already been building." Eventually, Twain found solace with Frederic Thiebaud, the husband of the woman who was once her best friend. The two married on Jan 1.
Actress Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom say cameras were not off-limits anywhere while filming their new reality TV show, "Khloe &Lamar" set to premiere on Sunday, April 10.
"People keep asking us that and no," Kardashian told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith at the official launch party of her and Odom's fragrance Unbreakable on Monday, April 4 in Los Angeles, later adding: "Honey, this is only E!., it's not Showtime. We film 12 to 18 hours a day, seven days a week. We've been filming since January. There's footage for days."
Kardashian confirmed in January 2011 that she and Odom were receiving their own reality show that will offer a humorous look at their lives as a married couple.
Kardashian said :: she is beyond excited for the premiere of "Khloe & Lamar," which airs on April 10 at 10 p.m. ET on E!.
"I seriously got chills when I first saw the opening credits for 'Khloé & Lamar.' I can't believe it's actually happening!!!! The premiere is less than a week away and I'm beyond excited. I just want Sunday to be here already,"Khole said on her blog.
Odom also expressed his excitement for the premiere.
"Long day of taping 2day. The cameras roll everywhere with us. Can't wait 4 ya'll 2 c. A lot of on the court time with me 2. Who's ready 4 April 10," Odom said on his Twitter. He added a few days later, "Almost here! It's crazy!"

"Knocked Up" Actress Katherine Heigl's new film, comedy thriller "One for the Money" has been postponed a second time due to box office competition, reports Entertainment Weekly. A Lionsgate representive Said :: "We just want to find the right home for [the film],and that [date] didn't feel like it."
The film is based on the popular Janet Evanovich series, following bail bondswoman Stephanie Plum.Lionsgate moved the release date from July 8 to June 3 to avoid competing with Sony's "The Zookeeper" and Warner Bros."Horrible Bosses." Now the studio fears that the film won't stand up against "X-Men: First Class" and plans to release the film to an undetermined date later this year.
She has done a string of romantic comedies, several of which have been considered box office flops. Her Ashton Kutcher comedy thriller "Killers" pulled in $47 million in the box office last year, but had a $75 million budget.
Katherine began her career modeling before appearing in movies like "My Father the Hero," "Knocked Up" and "The Ugly Truth." Heigl also appeared on shows like "Roswell" and "Grey's Anatomy."

"Desperate Housewives" actressEva Longoriawill be the 2011 grand marshal of the Texas Cavaliers River Parade during San Antonio's Fiesta. The festival organizers are expecting about 250,000 people to watch the parade from the banks of the San Antonio river on April 11 at 7 p.m.and proceeds from the event will go to 40 charities, including the "Desperate Housewives" actress charity Eva's Heroes.
Longoria said in a recent interview that she "applauds them for taking the tradition and combining it with a philanthropic effort like children's charities." Eva's Heroes is based in San Antonio, Texas and helps teens and young adults who were born with developmental disabilities.
"I was extremely fortunate to grow up with an intellectually disabled sister," Longoria wrote on the charity's website. "My mother became a special education teacher because of her and therefore I have been involved with all facets of this disability since I could walk and talk."

The Desperate Housewives staractress has been sued by an investor who alleges that the interest payments Longoria has been receiving since pumping $1 million into her Beso restaurant-and-nightclub enterprise violated California lending law. Beso partner Mali Nachum states that Longoria contracted to invest $1 million of her own money into the restaurant-nightclub business in return for yearly interest payments of 8 percent and a 23.33 percent stake in the company, while Nachum and fellow investor Jonas Lawrence's owners' equity in Beso would reflect Eva's heightened share.
However,last month Nachum states that he discovered this loan agreement violated state usury law i.e.,eva wasn't legally entitled to 8 percent plus the 23.33 percent—and demanded that Beso LLC bring action against her to return whatever interest she had received so far, estimated at $4.6 million.
