Story which make you think

A woman has married her dead boyfriend at a ceremony in France  after getting permission from President Sarkozy.
Karen Jumeaux, 22, made use of an obscure French law to wed fiancé   Anthony Maillot   almost two years after he was killed in a road accident.
She wrote to President Sarkozy to ask permission for a posthumous wedding, which was granted because she could prove they were already planning to marry. The couple met in 2007 and had a baby boy in 2009, shortly before his death at the age of 20.
She tied the knot wearing a white dress and in the presence of family and friends at the town hall ceremony in Dizy-le-Gros, eastern France on Thursday.
She said afterwards: 'I never wanted to do it alone, but fate decided otherwise. Now I am his wife and I will always love him.'

Johnson was once the partner

A jilted boyfriend is facing jail after he bombarded his former girlfriend with 17,000 unwanted texts and phone calls - including 180 in one day.

Glynn Johnson, 21, pushed her to 'breaking point' after she dumped him, contacting the woman on average 47 times a day over a year with unwanted calls, texts and Facebook messages, a hearing was told.
Johnson pleaded guilty to harassment at Plymouth Magistrates Court in Devon and was warned he could be sent to jail when he is sentenced next month.
But using Facebook the jobless father-of-two still found time to boast about his crime saying: 'Court today lol (laugh out loud) shud b fun.'
The court heard how Johnson and his victim - who cannot be named - entered a 'tempestuous' relationship in 2007 and had a child together, but broke up shortly after the birth.
They got back together last year and the victim again fell pregnant with a child which was born in January this year.
But they again split up after the birth and the question of paternity was raised and the woman refused to let Johnson see the child.
Julia Cox, prosecuting, said: 'Johnson was once the partner of the woman he was harassing.
'But when she tried to end it he then became manipulative and psychologically abusive.
'He started a battle with her via telephone calls because she wasn't accepting his advances.
'He pushed her to breaking point. The majority of the messages were threatening violence against her and her family.'
From November 2010, Johnson admitted he had 'persisted in contact that she did not want', the court heard.
David Teague, defending, said: 'Mr Johnson said things in the heat of the moment and persisted in contact that was unwanted.
'He admits that he said things which could be perceived as threatening, but he did not act on them.'
On Wednesday Johnson pleaded guilty to one specimen charge of harassment covering the four-month period between November 1, 2010 and March 1, 2011.
Magistrate Barry Brooking adjourned sentencing until July 4 and said that he would consider all options including custody due to the 'constant nature' and 'high volume' of calls and texts.
He said: 'The aggravating features in this case are the constant nature of the phone calls and texts, and the culpability, as it was obviously intentional.
'We must also consider the high volume and the strong psychological effect this had on the victim.
'I will adjourn sentencing for a pre-sentence report but I am considering all options including custody.'
Johnson was released on bail and refused to comment out of court.

Having sex on a beach /Sex in beach

A couple have been jailed for having sex on a beach in full view of dozens of families.
Lita Dawson and boyfriend Nicholas Harrison, both 51, were spotted on top of each other on Seaford Beach, in East Sussex.
One five-year-old boy told his shocked mother: 'Mummy, that lady was doing push-ups on that man.'
Eastbourne magistrates heard the pair had downed half a bottle of vodka before pulling off their clothes.
Prosecutor Heather Salvage said: 'They were in full view of everyone and didn't seem to care.
'One lady was at the beach with her son, who was only five, when she became aware they were having sexual intercourse. She tried to shield her son's eyes.

'She said it made her very angry.'
The unemployed pair were arrested on the spot when outraged parents reported them to police.
Magdalena Biglou, defending, said Dawson initiated the encounter on April 29, although both were to blame.

She said: 'There's not much that can be said really. It's quite apparent that their behaviour was was unpleasant, inappropriate and quite disgusting.
'The main instigator was the female. It was the female who was on top of the male.
'He asked Miss Dawson to stop a number of times but essence his sexual arousal took over.

'He is totally disgusted in himself and his behaviour.'
The court heard the couple have since split up, after Lita Dawson punched him in the face.
They both admitted outraging public decency and were each jailed for three months.

best way to clear your debts

Rajkot bizman gave supari for own murder
A small-time businessman from Rajkot found a strange way to clear his debts. He paid a supari to a friend and had himself killed so that his family would get the Rs 2 crore insurance money.

Eight months after paan masala dealer Yogesh Patoliya, 30, was found murdered on the outskirts of Rajkot, police say they have cracked the case. Crime branch officials have arrested Navghan Sindhav, 20, a close friend of Patoliya, who says he committed the murder because the victim insisted that he do it.

Crime branch inspector H K Rana says Patoliya had promised to give Sindhav Rs 90,000. The two had apparently made a pact where Patoliya wrote a letter stating that he owed Sindhav the money. Sindhav was supposed to show the letter to Patoliya's father after his death to get the money. Police officials have a copy of the letter but are yet to find out if Sindhav encashed it.

Sindhav worked with Patoliya for nearly four years and the two were close friends. The accused says he was shocked when Patoliya first proposed his plan but he convinced Sindhav by saying he should do it for the sake of their friendship.

On 17 August 2010, the two went in a car to Rajkot's outskirts. Patoliya even arranged for the knife with which Sindhav was supposed to stab him. The accused told the police he could not bear to see his friend's face while stabbing him so he turned away and then killed him. Police officials said the Patoliya had about Rs 2 crore life insurance cover from various companies and wanted the money to go to his family so that it could clear his debts.

The accused has also told the police that Patoliya had tried to kill himself by orchestrating an accident and had even driven full speed on Jetpur Road. When this plan failed, he asked Sindhav to kill him.

Talking dirty / Talk your way

Though most people consider it a turn off, dirty talk is quite a powerful stimulant to turn on your partner. So why do many people get turned off by it? Simply because this talk is usually associated with the kind of stuff one hears in a porn flick. However, the reality is that being vocal about your wants and needs and morever, about whether your partner's actions are satisfying you or not are essential for a healthy and happening sex life. Remember, dirty talk is not just about the raunchy stuff, being romantic and sensual is the key to doing it right.

That thing you do: Sure your partner wants to please you in bed, but if he/she isn't doing something right or is doing something that hurts you, that's going to be a big turn off and absolute deterrant to the act. Hence, telling him/her about what turns you on, what kind of action you crave, your deepest sexual fantasies is a good habit. Also, even in the course of the act, be sexily vocal about the actions that please you. Remember, your partner isn't a mind reader and unless you talk about it, he/she won't know if they are doing something wrong.

No you don't have to engage in sex talk everyday, whispering sweet nothings to your partner can also do the trick just as effectively. Call your partner up during work hours and whisper your 'action packed' plans for the evening. Even if you are assigning your partner a chore like picking up something from the market, talk softly and seductively enough for him/her to be able to feel your breath on his/her ear .

Talking dirty isn't about sounding crass, vulgar and cheap, it's about making a sensual and teasing verbal contact with your partner. Talk your way through the act and watch how he/she responds with added enthusiasm. Touch his/her lips with your fingertips telling them to meet you in the bedroom. Sit your partner down for a seductive striptease and tell them exactly what you are planning to do. Things like this will go a long way to up the level of action between the sheets.

Those who indulge in it will rave about how a bit of roleplay once in a while does wonders to spice the action up a notch or two. Make a list of roles that both of you can dress, talk and act. Use your role to the best of your advantage and order your partner to do the things you want him/her to do to you. Be firm and confident and use terms like 'You have to do everything I say', 'I'll be in the bedroom, meet me there', 'What about a shower together'.

divorce by text message

Tajik religious authorities say divorce by text message will soon be banned, as they seek to stamp out the practice in the mainly Muslim Central Asian nation.
State religious affairs committee head Abdurakhim Kholikov said Monday that sending SMSs with the "triple talaq," a Muslim ritual whereby a husband can end a marriage by reciting the term for divorce three times, breaches Islamic law.

Divorce by text message has become common in Tajikistan, particularly among migrant labourers living abroad.
Households in deeply impoverished Tajikistan depend heavily on cash remittances and divorce usually dooms wives to deep penury.
With many marriages in Tajikistan not documented, performing "talaq" is usually a mere formality, although Islamic legal scholars have condemned the practice.
Many describe Tajikistan as Central Asia's poorest country. Regardless, it is ruled by a firm and wealthy dictator, Emomali Rahmon. In a Wikileaks cable, an ambassador said: "Rahmon and his family control the country's major businesses, including the largest bank, and they play hardball to protect their business interests, no matter the cost to the economy writ large."
Recently, the situation in Tajikistan deteriorated so badly that the government was forced to ration the electricity supply throughout the country, despite its abundant energy reserves.

sex as one of the grounds for seeking divorce

A husband, who cited denial of sex as one of the grounds for seeking divorce, has been granted separation by the Delhi High Court.

Justice Kailash Gambhir took note of the fact that the wife left the husband in 2005 and "did not return to fulfill any of her matrimonial obligations" while allowing a decree for separation filed by the husband Rampal (name changed).

"Had there been any intention of the wife to resume cohabitation with the husband then at least she would have come forward to contest the divorce petition... her conduct gives sufficient grounds to construe the necessary intention on her part to bring cohabitation permanently to an end," Justice Gambhir observed in his order.

Rampal, through his lawyer Prabhjit Jauhar, had appealed against the decision of a lower court to decline a divorce decree to him, despite his claim that refusal of sex by his wife amounted to mental cruelty.

In his plea to HC, the husband narrated how marriage between the couple was solemnized in 1990 but no child was born out of the wedlock. He alleged that his wife was cruel to him from the very beginning and didn't fulfill her matrimonial obligations by refusing to have sex with him. Moreover, he pointed out in his plea that his wife deserted him in 2005 and never returned. This made Rampal seek divorce on the grounds of cruelty and desertion, which was however dismissed by the lower court.

It was also brought to the attention of the HC that the feuding couple had initially agreed to seek divorce by mutual consent, which was duly signed by the wife but then she refused to appear before the court to pursue the proceedings. Later, in a similar manner the wife also ignored divorce proceedings in HC, choosing not to state her version of events.

In spite of the common believe erotic photographs evoke different reactions for men and women, Center of Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN) study says. Women show more interest and pay more attention to sexual acts and men focus on faces.

Women and men were tested on visual response to erotic photographs that depicted sexual act to make clear the nature of sexual urges and their influence on health. The tests were made using eye-tracking technology that show the visual focus on various body parts.

It was supposed that typical response to sexual stimuli would be women looking at faces and men looking at genitals. However, the results were rather unexpected, in fact they were quite the opposite. Women were more attracted at sexual acts first and men would pay their attention at faces.
Although it was proved that a man is more likely to look at a woman's face, he still thinks about asking that woman or girl out if he considers her beautiful. Unfortunately a lot of men are shy or simply do not know what to do if they see a beautiful woman.

However, there are men who managed to overcome this problem and now are willing to help you become an alpha male. After becoming an alpha male you will easily be able to attract women.
Previous study, published in Hormones and Behavior magazine, researchers concluded that sexual stimuli outlines gender differences, particularly for brain activity of men and women.
Presumably women who took hormonal pills were more often focused on genitals and those who took no pills paid their attention to the context of the picture.
Although it is known that men would more readily respond to visual stimulation, their concentration is initially less sexually oriented.

Researches suggest, that key to the findings may lie in peculiarities of brain activities in certain sections.
From one of the fMRI (Functional magnetic resonance imaging) studies, conducted by Dr. Hamann and Wallen, where amygdalia brain section was examined, gender differences were prominently seen.
Men showed increased brain activity in amygdalia viewing sexual stimuli.
As amygdalia is known to deal with our emotions, there can be a link between this part of the brain and men's reaction to faces.

medically induced coma

Family future: Stevie Caffrey with daughter Maisie and boyfriend Andy. Andy said he watched in horror as Stevie swelled up in the hospitalOnly ten days after giving birth, Stevie Caffrey collapsed. With her heart and kidneys failing, doctors put her into a medically induced coma – and saved her life.
But when she came round four weeks later, she couldn't remember that she had a daughter.

Miss Caffrey, 20, had short-term memory loss as a result of being pumped full  of drugs, and has had to learn to walk again.
As she came to, a nurse said her father would be in shortly with her baby Maisie. Miss Caffrey recalled yesterday: 'I said, "I haven't got a baby''.'
Her boyfriend Andy Stafford – who she had also forgotten – and father Lyndon Caffrey desperately tried to jog her memory.
After two days she remembered the baby girl, but the details of her pregnancy and the birth were just a haze.
It was another three months before she could finally return home and begin  to bond with Maisie, who is now four months old.

She said: 'The last two months were horrible. I just wanted to come home. I was upset because I had not seen her for a long time.'
Maisie was born on November 5 last year but after just three days Lyndon, who works for Delta Taxis, and Andy became worried when Stevie started being sick.
When she collapsed at 2.30am on November 15, paramedics took her to Fazakerley Hospital.
After a blood test, she was rushed to Liverpool Women's hospital at 5am.
Andy said: 'They thought her appendix was ruptured. But then I was told to go out of the room because her heart had stopped. It did not seem real.'
Stevie was resuscitated, rushed to the Royal Liverpool Hospital and taken straight to the operating theatre.

Andy said he watched in disbelief as her body swelled up.
He said: 'She had eyes like a gecko. I almost broke down crying.'

Doctors referred Stevie to specialists at Wythenshawe Hospital, in Manchester, and she was taken there by a police escort.
Surgeons operated on her heart and put her on the list for a transplant, but unable to risk the wait, they put a ventricular assist system into the left side of her heart instead to help it function.
Stevie woke up in mid-December but it was another three months before she could return home to Maisie, who was being looked after by Andy's mum and Stevie's grandmother and aunt.

Stevie said: 'I was upset because I had not seen her for a long time.'
'Knowing other people were looking after her, I thought she was going to call Andy's mum Mummy.
'She is my baby - how was I going to feel if she called anyone else Mummy?'
Stevie finally left hospital three weeks ago. Doctors gave her a portable monitor that measures her heart rhythm and are hopeful she will remain stable and will not need a heart transplant for some time.
Andy said: 'It is up to her from now on. The doctors have done the most they could.'
The new mother, who is due to start a dance course at college, said: 'The last two months were horrible. I just wanted to come home. I did not think I would be here.'

legacy of Indian solder

"I was manning the light machine gun (LMG) as our group was returning from an ambush near Jammu when it suddenly felt like acid being thrown on me. It was a barrage of 12 bullets from an AK-47, which hit my stomach. Writhing in pain I thought it was all over," says Sipahi Kuldeep Gautam of 17 Mahar Regiment who survived. As the crowd at Kasturchand Park applauded the performers at the 'know your army fair' inaugurated on Friday, Gautam was among the 20-odd waiting in the sun as they were being handed over the keys of scooters specially designed for the disabled.

With the weariness seen on their faces, they were soldiers crippled in action as they seemed like forgotten heroes in an otherwise bustling fair. The group included young soldiers who were injured in anti-terrorist operations as well as veterans of the 1965 Indo-Pak war.

The 31-year- old Gautam seemed to be the luckiest of all. The bullets have permanently damaged his gall bladder, intestine and the right kidney leaving him with a fracture in the spine. He had to remain in the military hospital for one and a half years. The incident that took place in September 2003, rendered Gautam disabled for life.

It was a counter-ambush by the militants who targeted him first as he had the LMG, the most lethal weapon of the group. Gautam who had lost all hopes of surviving was lucky as coincidentally the general-officer-commanding s(GoC) was on a visit to his unit and had arrived by a helicopter. Gautam was quickly evacuated. "It's only because of the GoC's chopper that I'm here to receive the scooter today," he says.

Gautam, a resident of Mathura, has continued with his service and is now posted in Pune where he is also undergoing a computer course. He will retire in 2015 after which he plans to set up a computer training institute.

On whether he regrets joining the army, Gautam says, "Not at all. In my earlier encounters, there were casualties in the enemy camp. It's all a matter of chance," he says.

Vasant Kolhe of the Maratha regiment is a veteran of the 1965 Indo-Pak war. He lost a leg in a mine blast. Settled as a farmer in Pandharpur, he calls himself a happy man. "Our troops had captured the area close to the Sialkot town of Pakistan. The blast occurred when I was clearing a minefield. It happened in a fraction of a second. When I regained consciousness in the hospital, I realised I had lost a leg," he laughs. In 1966, Himmat Sawant lost his toes while he was being rescued.

he would ever sing on stage again

"It all started off as a joke. Someone remarked in class — Mr Clark, he might speak up if you agree to shave your head.

"That led to the Tae Woong Project, which was launched about three to four months back," Clark told Gulf News.

"We distributed flyers to the whole school explaining the challenge. If Tae sang in front of a crowd, I would let him shave my head," he continued.

Every week, on Thursday, a 500-strong crowd including pupils and parents of primary classes gather for the school assembly.

"Every Thursday, we would ask Tae if he is up to the challenge yet."

He wouldn't respond.

Finally, at the assembly two days ago Tae made it. He sang the Korean national anthem.

"There was not a dry eye in the audience. It was the most moving experience I have had."

The teacher admitted that it was not an easy feat for him either, especially since he had inhibitions about revealing his psoriasis affected scalp.

For facing his fear, Tae will be an inspiration to all other pupils, Clark added.

"I was a bit scared and nervous," Tae said.

Asked if he would ever sing on stage again he said he's not sure.

Getting rid of his hair certainly wasn't one thing William Clark signed up for when he decided to become a teacher.
But today, he's happy that he went bald for a cause — putting an end to his 10-year-old pupil's grave fear of public speaking.
The daring teacher and his Korean pupil, Tae Woong-jeong, are part of the GEMS World Academy, located in Al Barsha.
At the beginning of this academic year, Clark got fifth grader Tae as his pupil. Initially, when Tae refused to speak up during group activities or present his ideas in front of his class, Clark assumed it might be due to language difficulties.
However, once Clark read through Tae's written work and saw how well he interacted with his friends, the teacher realised the real problem — intense fear of public speaking.
Tae had been with the school for two years. By then, most teachers had given up on getting him to speak, although their curriculum places much significance on the skill.

store sperm samples

A number of British soldiers posted in war-torn Afghanistan are said to be freezing their sperm in case they are killed or maimed, a media report said.

The British Army has paid a private firm to store sperm samples as an "insurance policy"; wives and girlfriends would use the semen to become pregnant if their loved ones are killed or can no longer father children.
"The MoD provides all military personnel with pre- deployment advice on fertility preservation," a MoD spokesman was quoted by the British tabloid as saying. One 28-year-old Army wife said: "This practice is more common than you think. Army wives and girlfriends already have to deal with their partners maybe not coming home. An added torment is that their dreams of a child are also shattered.

"If my husband dies, he's given me permission to use his sperm to have our baby. It's an insurance policy, should the worst happen."

Fears over childlessness grew after an increase in groin injuries and damage to reproductive organs from IED bombs, the report said.

love marriage-deny there education.

In khap ravaged Haryana, a school has barred two class XII girls from attending classes just because they went in for love marriage.

Rakhi and Manjeet Kaur, both 18, have been told to stay away by their principal "for fear of casting a bad influence on their schoolmates". Rakhi and her husband Kumar Gaurav are now thinking of taking legal recourse if the school continues to deny her education.

Students of Government Senior Secondary School, Maheshnagar, the two girls had run away from home after meeting parental opposition to their marriage. While Rakhi married Gaurav, Manjeet had tied the knot with Ashok Kumar in December 2010. When the couples returned home, Rakhi's family accepted her marriage and she decided to continue her studies. However, the principal just wouldn't let her do so.

The school authorities, though, have denied the allegations, saying the girls' names were struck due to their long absence. Rakhi's class teacher Alka Jain and district education officer Nisha Sharma said the school took action after they stayed away from classes for over a month. "Nobody can stop them from entering the school on this ground (love marriage). We will inquire into the incident and take appropriate action after that," . She admitted that Rakhi had complained against her principal Kamlesh Sharma.

Gaurav, though, stands firm by his wife. "They (school officials) say long absenteeism is the reason behind barring their entry to school. How can they spoil her education for a reason like this. We will go to the court against the school diktat,".

how love starts ---- fall in love with a total stranger

http://www.jonco48.com/blog/love_2Dcards.thumbnail.jpg
It takes a mere fifth of a second for the brain to fill with sheer rapture and fall in love with a total stranger, say scientists.

Love's lightning quick flush fires up a dozen brain areas to release feel good chemicals like dopamine, oxytocin, adrenaline and vasopressin, to produce a heady effect similar to that of cocaine.
The reward part of the brain unleashes passionate love, while middle brain and other areas trigger unconditional love between a mother and a child, reports the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
A new meta-analysis: 'Does the heart fall in love, or the brain? conducted by Syracuse University psychology professor Stephanie Ortigue, is grabbing eyeballs worldwide.
holding hands'I would say the brain, but the heart is also related because the complex concept of love is formed by both bottom-up and top-down processes from the brain to the heart and vice versa,' says Ortigue, according to a Syracuse University release.
'For instance, activation in some parts of the brain can generate stimulations to the heart, butterflies in the stomach. Some symptoms we sometimes feel as a manifestation of the heart may sometimes be coming from the brain,' Ortigue said.
Ortigue and her team worked with a team from West Virginia University and a university hospital in Switzerland.
Other researchers also found that blood levels of nerve growth factor, or NGF, also increased. Those levels were significantly higher in couples who had just fallen in love.
This molecule plays an important role in the social chemistry of humans, or the phenomenon 'love at first sight'. 'These results confirm love has a scientific basis,' Ortigue said.
The findings have major implications for neuroscience and mental health research because when love doesn't work out, it can be a significant cause of emotional stress and depression.

lover dies of cancer

A 33-year-old woman assistant manager of Delhi's Karkardooma branch of Union Bank, on Monday night, leaped to her death from her 8th floor flat in the upmarket Neelpadmkunj Apartments. She left a suicide note which said she had nothing more left to live for after her boyfriend recently died of cancer.

According to a police officer, the deseased, Megha Nanda, lived alone in the flat number 903 in Neelpadmkunj. But, on Monday morning, her brother, Prateek and his wife, who live in Gurgaon had come to visit Megha. Around 10.30pm, when both of them were present in the house, Megha leaped from the balcony of her house. She fell into the swimming pool and sustained serious head injuries.

Said a police officer, ''We found the suicide note on Tuesday. It said, 'Dear mummy and papa, I love you both a lot. Nobody is responsible for my action. My boyfreind has recently died of cancer. And, I don't feel any reason for living now.'''

Oral and Anal Sex More Popular

According to a new national study, "experimental" sex is more prevalent among Americans today than it was in 1994.

The Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University surveyed 5,865 people between age 14 and 94 on their sexual activities. The questions used were similar to a 1994 sex study conducted by The University of Chicago. Compared to the figures from the 1994 survey, it was discovered that more men and women are engaging in oral sex with each other, and a "significantly greater" amount of heterosexual anal sex is going on in 2010. These days, 40 percent of women between the ages of 20 and 45 have engaged in anal sex.

Also notable: The Indiana researchers found 41 different ways people have sex with each other. They also reveal that 85 percent of men claim they gave their partner an orgasm during their latest sexual event, whereas only 64 percent of women said they achieved orgasm during their most recent sexual encounter.

The discrepancy in that last factoid is why findings on self-reported sex surveys need to be digested with a bit of skepticism.
Oral sex is stimulating the genitals with the mouth, lips and tongue, by kissing, sucking, licking and nibbling. Many people use oral sex as foreplay or a substitute for intercourse, because it can be just as important and enjoyable as full sex.
If you'd like to try oral sex with your partner, you should make sure you're clean first. Although don't forget that the natural taste and smell of your body might be what attracts them most, so don't cover up with perfumes or deodorant. A good tip if you're concerned about how you or your partner smells, is to suggest taking a shower together.
When you're clean and fresh, you'll feel more comfortable. If you're worried about the way you look, try dimming the lights and lighting candles to boost your confidence.
Remember to try different techniques until you find out what your partner likes. Some people prefer gentle oral sex, with plenty of kisses to the areas around the genitals first, whereas others favour a firmer approach! Just listen and look for signs of appreciation - then you'll know you're doing something right.
A little gentle guidance during sex can go a long way but don't be pushy or upset if they're not ready.

Spend some time and get your lover excited before making the plunge. Tease her whole body before you head south. When having oral sex with your lover, it's not all about her clitoris. Let your mouth and tongue explore her whole labia, clitoris and vagina.
Slowly lick up her thighs and kiss her vulva. Spread her legs and open her lips with your fingers. Take a look. Tell her how beautiful she looks.
Use your tongue. Your whole tongue. Flatten it out. Use just the tip. Lick her like an ice cream cone. Flick it like a butterfly wings. Use gentle strokes. As her excitement builds, add more pressure. Focus more on the area around her clit.

old woman who posed as a boy

http://justaskmissblue.com/blue/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/woman_poses_as_boy.jpgA 31-year-old woman who posed as a boy, cutting her hair and using male aliases so she could date teenage girls has been jailed for six months.
Patricia Dye also was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and follow any recommended treatment.
In a case echoing the film Boys Don't Cry, Dye tricked at least two teenage girls into dating her.
Charges were filed in connection with only one, a 16-year-old.
She was arrested in June after the girl ran away from home for a few days and stayed with Dye for at least part of that time.
Dye pleaded guilty yesterday to sexual imposition, attempted sexual imposition and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Warren County Juvenile Court Judge Mike Powell in Lebanon, about 25 miles north of Cincinnati, sentenced Dye to jail and put her on probation for two years.
He also ordered Dye not to have contact with the victim or the victim's family and classified her as a sexual offender, which requires her to register with authorities every six months for 15 years.
'This woman victimised a young girl and needed to be punished for her actions,' Chief Assistant Prosecutor Bruce McGary said in a statement.
'Equally important is that we monitor and make sure that Ms. Dye does not have any victims in the future.'
A statement from the 16-year-old victim was read in court, the Dayton Daily News reported.
'I'm even scared to walk my dog,' she said. 'I used to trust people. Now I don't.'
Dye's lawyer, Rob Kaufman, said he had pushed for the mental health evaluation and potential treatment.
His client feels remorse and 'has really learned from this experience,' he added.
'It was the first time she was ever in jail, and I don't believe she would ever get in trouble again,' Kaufman said.
'This has really had a big impact on her.'
Dye's parents are in poor health, and she is looking forward to getting out of jail and being with them again, Kaufman said.
In the film Boy's Don't Cry actress Hillary Swank plays Brandon, a girl who wants to live as a boy. She falls in love with Lana, played by Chloë Sevigny, and lies about her gender.
